‘What stands out about Lister’s production style is his ability to create fully realised soundscapes. He has a natural ear for melodies and while his tracks definitely have depth, he doesn’t fall into the trap of cluttering the mix. This is exemplified in the track that he’s provided for us today – ‘Future For The Quiet’. A track that’s featured previously on his radio show, it’s an ambient number scattered with cosmic elements. Will allows the constant melody to speak for itself, decorating it subtly with effects and other samples so that the track naturally evolves with continued listening.’
