We first got switched onto Telfort‘s productions when he dropped his debut release last April to inagurate his self titled imprint, TLFT. The 12″ became a firm favourite of the Phonica crew and flew off the shelves just as quickly as it arrived. He’s slowly but surely carving out his own sound and now we’re extremely pleased to be debuting the title track off TLFT002 here on Phonica Premieres!
The second we heard “Lickety Split” we were nodding along and tapping our feet in approval. The track opens up with joyful and optimistic pads paired with crisp percussion and once the sub-heavy kicks and squelchy bassline kick-in you get that life-afirming feeling we’ve all felt at sunrise after one of those classic care-free summer nights.
