Norway’s Skåtebard sprinkles his magic over the first outing of Primitive Trust, a new collaboration between Will Saul and Tee Mango.
‘What would Carl do?’ That’s the only question the two experienced musical minds of Aus Music Founder Will Saul and the man behind the Millionhands record and clothing label, Tom Mangan, asked each other when they decided to lock themselves in Tee’s Somerset studio.
Surrounded by some cherry picked analogue gear, the pair agreed to trust their instincts and go with first feelings, embracing the joy of randomness. The result is a series of three EPs that will be released as Primitive Trust on AUS Music.
Our pick for this week’s premiere is the B side of the first instalment, a solid remix firmly planted on the dancefloor by Norwegian producer Skåtebard, who adds some layers of 808 goodness to the already powerful bassline driven original. Check it out below!
