Phonica presents: R&S and Novamute at Egg LDN.
Phonica Records return to Egg LDN on Saturday 24th November with a specially curated lineup. We’ve invited two of the most legendary electronic music labels of all time along too, R&S and Novamute.
Headliners on the night include Matrixxman, The Maghreban, Afriqua, and Nicolas Bougaïeff. Phonica DJ’s round out the evenings proceedings.
This is also a rare chance to catch the founders themselves on the same bill, both Renaat Vandepapeliere and Daniel Miller will perform DJ sets representing their highly influential labels.
Label-head Daniel Miller started Mute Records (and Techno offshoot Novamute) signing some of the most important names in industrial, techno and pop music including Depeche Mode, Plastikman/Richie Hawtin, Moby, Nitzer Ebb, Terrence Fixmer and Renegade Soundwave. Renaat Vandepapeliere’s Belgian imprint R&S has been responsible for launching careers for Techno royalty: Aphex Twin, Dave Clarke, Joey Beltram, CJ Bolland, Lone, and James Blake.
