We were first introduced to the sounds of Prequel back in 2014 when Rhythm Section dropped their third release. The Polite Strangers EP was the first time Prequel‘s sounds were unleashed on the world and they quickly caught the attention and praise from the likes of Ben UFO, Gilles Peterson, Mister Saturday Night, Osunlade, Recloose and many others. Two years down the line and Prequel returns with a sequel for Rhythm Section!
Freedom Jazz Dance builds on jazz-tinged aesthetic that underlined his debut EP and although each track is incredibly strong in their own right, we found ourselves queuing up ‘Nothing Better’ again and again for that breezy, summertime vibe.
