For the premier appearance of the year on the Phonica Premieres, we have selected a certainly soulful track by one man band SofaTalk.
After successful releases on labels such as Banoffee Pies, Love Sexy Records or Ambassador’s Reception, the Italian producer debuts on the London-based ANMA records with two cuts of his signature futuristic machine funk, channeling chunky Juno keys, percussive rhythms and sweet flutters on the Rhodes.
The EP comes with a remix from the man K15, fresh from his work with Henry Wu and as Culross Close, who has retrofitted ‘Hypnotise’ with a mesmerising 2-step groove and dubbed out 8-bit garage FX!
