Scottish genre-bending stalwart Neil Landstrumm links up with Central Processing Unit to bring us four club-ready and bass heavy cuts which harp back to the short-lived, but much loved, ‘bleep techno’ era.
Releasing music since the mid-90s, Neil Landstrumm has built a solid reputation as an exciting producer with a penchant for genre exploration. Known for experimenting with everything from wonky hardware techno to grime and dubstep influenced electronica, Landstrumm’s music has been picked up by such labels as Planet Mu, Tresor and Peacefrog to name but three.
Sheffield based record label Central Processing Unit now welcome Landstrumm to their ever-growing and ever-impressive family with a blinding four track EP entitled ‘A Death, A Mexican and a Mormon‘ which is packed with tingling 808 State-style melodies, manic, retro cowbells and more than enough bass to keep the neighbours on their toes. Our pick for the premiere is the A1 track ‘Tomorrow People’ which you can check out below!
