South Londoners FYI Chris are back with a heavy acid remix. Drop The Beat is our pick for this week’s premiere.
Hailing from the vibrant area of Peckham, London, it didn’t take long for duo FYI Chris to get their name on the map. From debuting at Boiler Room London Boat Party back in 2015 to releasing music on such labels as Rhythm Section INTL, Banoffee Pies and West Friends, these guys have run up a pretty tight schedule!
This time they’re back On The Corner Records for its second instalment of the Versus series. Introducing a wave of juicy talents to feature a selection of original and remix works of On The Corner favourites. Known for their dusky house and acid bump, this time around they delve into a deep dance territory on their remix of M.I.X.G.’s Drop the Beat. Check it out below.
