Midnight Themes and Retrograde Records’ Marlon Hoffstadt dishes up a tasty 4 tracker for Ransom Note Records. Batavus is our pick for the premiere.
Berlin-based producer, founder of Midnight Themes and co-founder of Retrograde Records, Marlon Hoffstadt, comes at us with a dancefloor-ready, 80s Chicago influenced four-track EP on UK imprint and collective Ransom Note, entitled ‘Observing The Known’.
The shimmering b-side opener ‘Batavus‘ is our pick for the premiere. The track sits perfectly amongst two more original slices of Hoffstadt’s trademark house and techno sound and a killer remix from Londoner Scott Fraser.
